Blue Cards / Exemptions

Bluecards are required by all those representing Canons Rebels Netball Club who are over 18 years of age.

Representatives of Canons who require a current blue card are:

  • Managers
  • Coaches
  • Committee Members
  • Umpires (over the age of 18)

Please note: Bluecards expire after two years and a new application needs to be completed.


To complete your Blue Card or Exemption card form (New/Renewal)


  • Finalise the application as advised by Blue card services

Please note: ID Photos are sourced from the department of transport. if your photo is older than ten (10) years, you will need to visit a department of transport before your application can be completed.

Accreditation and Resources

At Canons, we ensure all of our coaches have an opportunity to develop their own skills, whilst encouraging our players to do the same. We think of our coaches as teachers, leaders and motivators all rolled into one!

You don't need to be a seasoned expert to coach at our club, only a great attitude and plenty of community spirit. 


Coaching Accreditation Courses are available through Netball Queensland, with workshops available throughout the year. Accreditation ranges from Foundation, to Development, to Intermediate, to Advanced, and through to Elite. We will also refund the cost of an accreditation program if this is something you're interested in. 

As a club, we fully acknowledge the time commitment required in volunteering to be a coach, so we ensure our coaches are compensated for both their time and accreditation.

We have a large amount of resources that are available to our club coaches.  LInks will be made available for those registered with the club.

Registration as Volunteer in Netball Connect.

All Officials ( Coaches, Managers, Umpires) also need to be registered in Netball Connect to allow allocation of games, and to ensure coverage for insurance purposes. 

This is free for all club volunteers.

Log into your Netball Connect registration as you would for your child.  Make sure the account is showing as you who is registering for the Membership product.
